Q: Can u
tell me what elements I need to sell products on the web?
A: Yes, you need a PROFESSIONALLY designed
site, one that instills confidence in your visitors, easy to
navigate and presents your products well. You need site
"hosting." Hosting is the internet server that your site
is accessed from and stores your data/graphics and other
information. If you want to sell directly from your site, you need
your site Ecommerce enabled which means customers can use their
credit card to buy from your site in real time. We make sure your
site is secure and safe to do that.
Q: What are
the Top Search Engines and Directories?
A:Yahoo, and AOL
are the top directories, while Google, Ask.com,
Alta Vista, Excite, HotBOT, Lycos and
MSN Search are the Top Engines. However sometimes these
engines/directories pull information from each other so html
coding and proper submission to them, is crucial.
Q: How do I know how much to spend
for my site design and promotion?
A: Simple, how much is one lead worth to you? Ex: If you're
selling real estate, how much is your average sales fee? After you
determine how much a lead is worth, then you need to know how many
visitors must come to your site before you convert one to a client
or sale. Is your conversion ratio 1-500? Or is it more or less? We

Q: What do you mean conversion?
A: If you have 100 visitors come to your site in a given month,
for instance, and let's say that only 5 of those visitors,
actually call you. Then from those 5 callers, you actually sell
(or convert) 2 of them to buy your product or service. That is
your conversion rate or ratio. Understand that different types of
businesses have different conversion ratios, this is just a very
simple example. But you can see from this example how important
site design, optimization and promotion really are. Do it right,
you make money. But if you do it the wrong way, you lose and so
does the customer. We personally know of a jeweler that spent a
bundle on design, but almost nothing on promotion. That's like
building a wonderful storefront in a secret location. That mistake
